WHAT WE DO
We are a proudly M/WBE-certified multidisciplinary platform committed to empowering entrepreneurs while celebrating Caribbean, Black and LatinX creativity, and innovation. Rooted in community and culture, we support micro, small, and medium-sized businesses with the tools, resources, and visibility needed to grow, thrive, and scale. From New York City to global stages, we champion the voices and brands of our network through business, media, and cultural exchange.
Our mission is to connect, support, and amplify brands—strengthening their capacity, building networks, and opening doors to economic opportunity across North America and beyond. Through curated programs, strategic partnerships, we help businesses move through critical milestones on their journey to long-term success.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Nicole K. Grimes
Nicole Grimes is an award-winning author, educator, consultant and Founder of Carib Biz Network ( CBN) in 2019. Her 20+ year career in education and her love of Caribbean culture served as the seedbed to start CBN - a community dedicated to amplifying Caribbean talent and entrepreneurs. She is dedicated to bridging the racial wealth gap through the work of CBN.
Education: Grimes is an alumna of The Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY) where she received a Ph.D. in Urban Education. She is a former NYC high school principal, university adjunct Assistant professor and STEM educator. She earned an M.A. in Secondary Science Education from Teachers College, Columbia University & a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University.
